Hi, I’m Liv.
My first venture into editing came at 13 with making in-camera Matrix spoofs on my dad’s Mini DV-Cam. Many others followed, from experimenting with 16mm in the cutting room at 17 to every student short I edited at film uni, but also insisted on starring in. It wasn’t until 2018 that I achieved my first professional credit with Flavourworks Studios and Sony Interactive in creating the first live-action game of its genre at the time, Erica.
Spending a year in a start-up basement office figuring out how to combine video editing with game design, coding and multi-branch narrative proved not only to be a whole bunch of fun. It opened my mind to new technologies, developed a keen eye for puzzles and problem solving and taught me the value of collaborating with like-minded creatives.
And like that I set off on a career path that led me to explore projects which told stories outside of conventional editing. I continued and expanded on the live-action game genre, designed invisible edits for two Sky Cinema action features, which played as “one-shot” films, and was part of the winning team of the BFI 48Hr Sci-Fi Challenge.
While I am currently most focused on long form narrative, my passion and experience lies in visual storytelling of any form. From feature films, TV, shorts, adverts to video games and corporate videos, I’m always looking for a unique perspective to bring your vision and story to life.
